Jean Marshall is a multimedia artist who graduated from Eastern Washington University with a BFA in 2024. The constant flux and adaptations of the natural world are significant components of their research and art practice. As an MFA candidate at the University of Montana, Jean’s work responds to the evolving ecosystems in the Intermountain Northwest, including the collision of nature and human entanglement. The increasing anxiety of evacuating from wildfires and witnessing other ecological disasters abroad drives their thesis.
